Lori has lived in Hurley, MS her entire life. She is 51 years old. Lori began exercising at home in her early 20s while raising her daughter. After having her son, she began working out with weights and doing tons of cardio. She began training with a friend who had competed in bodybuilding. That's where her interest and knowledge really began. After several years, she went off on her own but continued to train and learn.  She started amateur modeling and enjoyed the travel and photo shoots. This made her train and diet more intensely.

In 2006, while training at The Fitness Zone in Pascagoula, Joe approached her about training. He could see her potential. Joe trained her for about a year before asking her to compete. Even though she was very shy, Lori competed in her first show in Mobile, AL in 2007, winning her division in Figure. She was hooked. Joe continued to training her for about two years before they started dating in 2009. When Joe was offered a writing contract for Muscular Development Magazine, he asked Lori to go with him. They trained and dieted since they were asked to do some photo shoots. Unbeknownst to Lori, Joe had made some surprise plans. While seeing the sights in Poland, Joe asked Lori to marry him; she said YES!
